WOW!  Have we got Summit news for you!

How could we make Woodhull’s 2016 Sexual Freedom Summit even bigger and better than 2015?  That was the question we were asking ourselves.  And we got the answer!  Beginning Wednesday evening, 8/12 and continuing all day Thursday, 8/13, Dr. Patti Britton and Dr. Robert Dunlop will be conducting their world-renowned SAR right at the Summit.

The “SAR” or “Sexual Attitude Reassessment and Restructuring” is a highly provocative, experiential, cognitive and affective experience, which is designed to push comfort levels, elicit feelings and confront attitudes, beliefs and values about sexuality. Presentations encompass media, (including contemporary film, television and art), along with presentations and panels of speakers and live demonstrations showing the potential range of human sexual expression today. Check it out here and register directly with Drs. Britton and Dunlop!  The SAR is not included in your Summit registration, but when you register, you’ll find a fabulous opportunity to combine the two experiences.

There’s more!  Are you ready for this?  Widener University’s Sexuality and Aging Consortium is partnering with Woodhull to host an Institute, “Envisioning a Better Sexual Future for Older Adults,” at the Summit on Friday, August 14th.  You can choose to attend just this one day’s programming or enjoy it as part of your full Summit registration.  We’ll be talking about sexuality and aging in so many contexts, from professional issues to personal concerns.

“Each year, the Consortium hosts an on-campus conference during which renowned researchers, educators, advocates, and authors share their wisdom related to sexuality and aging. By partnering with the Woodhull Alliance this year near the nation’s capital, we can reach more people who share our vision of ensuring the sexuality education, health, and rights of older adults,” said Melanie Davis, PhD, CSES, co-president of the Sexuality and Aging Consortium.
