Kavanaugh: He failed his job interview

I know, without even a modicum of doubt, that Brett Kavanaugh is not only unfit to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States but also that he should be removed from the bench.

HE FAILED HIS JOB INTERVIEW.

This was a job interview. Applicants for any position are expected to put their best foot forward during the interview process. You will never see them behaving quite as well as they do when they’re trying to impress you with how wonderful they are.

Brett Kavanaugh showed us his lack of control of his anger. He showed us his blatant hatred, bias, and prejudice against Democrats as a whole and specifically Hillary and Bill Clinton. He showed us his disrespect for Congress and for the processes of government.

Brett Kavanaugh showed himself to be belligerent, uncooperative, aggressive, out of control, emotional and irrational. He was insulting and inappropriate in his responses to individual Senators. He ranted, he raved, and showed us, beyond any question, that he is unfit to serve on any judicial appointment, but most definitely NOT on the highest court of the land in a lifetime appointment.

Let us not be distracted, as awful and heart-wrenching as they are, by the testimony and accusations we’ve heard about his sexual behavior. I believe the women who have come forward to accuse Bret Kavanaugh of sexual assault. And since Maryland allows charges to be brought without time limits, I think those charges should be filed as soon as possible.

But, back to the point at hand as far as his performance during his confirmation hearings goes: He failed his job interview.

Kavanaugh showed himself, during this interview, to be someone who doesn’t hear “no” and who reacts with aggression when he is denied (sic …the smooth course to confirmation).

It’s that simple. Whatever the FBI finds should be used in a court case against him. We saw the facts, the truth, of who he is in his behavior.

HE FAILED HIS JOB INTERVIEW.

It isn’t that I believe for one minute that the next candidate will be better for “my” side, on my issues. But hopefully, that candidate will be more suited to the honor of this position.

HE FAILED HIS JOB INTERVIEW.

That’s what we should be discussing. That’s what we should be reminding our legislators about. That’s the one, single, indisputable fact.

HE FAILED HIS JOB INTERVIEW.

Call your elected officials right now and let them know how you feel!
