Hancie Stokes is a recent American University graduate with a BA in anthropology and women, gender, and sexuality studies. Throughout her time at school, Hancie focused on exploring the relationship between gender/sexuality and social media, as well as capitalism and emerging reproductive justice movements. In her senior year, Hancie directed the student-written “Breaking Ground Monologues” that featured the voices of students discussing body positivity, sexual assault, race, and gender identity. She also works as a sex educator at Lotus Blooms, a health and education based adult boutique in Virginia. Hancie believes strongly in advocating for inclusive sex-positivity and thrilled to be working with Woodhull to ensure sexual freedom as a human right.
