Erin Kilbride is the Research & Visibility Coordinator at Front Line Defenders, an Irish international organisation working on security and protection for human rights defenders (HRDs) at risk. She has investigated and reported on threats, attacks, and killings of HRDs across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, focusing specifically on gendered and sexualized attacks faced by women human rights defenders (WHRDs), LGBTIQ defenders, sex worker rights defenders, and labour rights defenders. Erin is currently leading Front Line Defenders research and learning around the risks and protection needs of sex worker rights defenders.
