Imani Barbarin is a black female disability rights advocate and communications consultant specializing in social media. Born with Cerebral Palsy, She uses communications to create accessible spaces both online and in person. She is creator of the blog CrutchesandSpice.com and recently graduated with a Masters in Global Communications from the American University of Paris in Paris, France. Her work has been featured in publications such as the Huffington Post, HuffPost UK, Self Magazine and Bored Panda (to name a few). She looks forward to what the future holds but holds steadfast to her calling to be an advocate.
