Meghan “River” Patton

River is currently a Las Vegas-based sex worker. She has been a stripper for 8 years and has danced throughout the country, primarily in Texas, New Orleans, and Vegas. She holds an A.A.S in Accounting and an A.A. in Creative Writing. During tax season she volunteers at a non-profit and prepares returns for low-income individuals. She is a member of the Las Vegas Sex Worker Collective and is focused on legislative change, community outreach, and education. In her free time, she can be found doing yoga, cooking, reading, cuddling with her cats and partner, swimming, and working on her novel.

In a political environment that makes sex work increasingly dangerous, the members of the Las Vegas Sex Worker Collective discuss the importance of building community across the many sectors of sex work.
