Access to quality mental healthcare is a human right and yet, the task of finding quality mental healthcare is daunting, especially when you’re a non-monogamous and/or kinky person who lives on various margins. Therapists often pathologize ethical and consensual practices in addition to reinforcing biases and stigma already present in the healthcare industry, while clients are often forced to educate providers on the very topics in which they seek guidance.
