Woodhull Freedom Foundation Announces New “Fact Checked by Woodhull” Virtual Series sponsored by Chaturbate

Today, the Woodhull Freedom Foundation unveiled a brand-new virtual series, “Fact Checked by Woodhull,” centered on their groundbreaking work debunking myths about sexual freedom. The series will include six programs, each focused on a category of Fact Checkeds and featuring experts from the legal field, adult industry, journalism, advocacy, sex work, and more.
Fact Checked by Woodhull investigates common myths and lies about pornography, age verification, sex work, free speech, and transgender and gender-nonconformity by consulting peer-reviewed academic research. Fact Checked articles are short, accessible, and free to all! Fact Checked has been cited in testimony in several states, on social media, and in periodicals.
The first episode of this new virtual series will focus on free speech and will air live online on Thursday, February 26, at 11:30 am PT / 2:30 pm ET. Registration is free, and ASL interpretation will be provided.
Expert panelists include:
- Taylor Lorenz – Technology and culture journalist and author of the national bestselling book Extremely Online: The Untold Story of Fame, Influence and Power on the Internet.
- Cherie DeVille – Sex worker, thought leader, and one of the adult industry’s most successful performers.
- Larry Walters – Head of the Walters Law Group, a preeminent law firm concentrating on Internet law and First Amendment issues.
