Anna Bonesteel (they/them) is the Strategic Response Manager at Fight for the Future, a digital rights nonprofit known for organizing some of the biggest online protests in history. At Fight, Anna tracks and responds to emerging threats to online speech and digital (human) rights. Recent rapid response campaigns have sounded the alarm on lawmakers’ plans to censor abortion content, disrupted Zoom’s plans for AI emotion recognition, and pushed for accountability on the anniversary of the deadly SESTA/FOSTA. Their writing has appeared in Reuters, NBC, and the College Hill Independent.
