Everyone has the right to healthy & pleasurable sexuality, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, HIV status, immigration status, class, or ability.

Elicia Gonzales is a queer, white Latinx, cisfemme GenXer. She is on a healing journey to interrogate and atone for her anti-Blackness, and unlearn harms caused by white supremacist, patriarchal, capitalism. These systems of oppression manifest in each of us differently, but no one is immune. From an early age, she felt called to help people feel sexually healthy and whole in the face of societal conditioning intended to strip us of our humanity. That’s why at the age of 18, she proclaimed that I would “become the next Dr. Ruth” (Google her if you don’t know). Elicia obtained Masters degrees in Social Work and Human Sexuality Education. She was a therapist for youth and adults, and has lots of experience and pearls of wisdom to share from her 25-years in the sexual and reproductive health field as an Executive Director, Board member, and community educator. From her childhood in Denver, CO through mitigating harms from the non-profit industrial complex, she has gotten stuck, experienced burn out, been burned, and grappled with keeping my passion lit. Yet – it’s always been here. Even when dim, even when others try to snuff it out. Elicia utilizes a heart-led, embodied, humorous approach to birth and rebirth passion in people’s bodies, spirits, relationships, and careers. She is no expert, nor does she have all the right answers.
