It’s deceptive to think that indulgence is selfishness. Indulge in goodness, indulge in joy; indulgence is self-care.

Jenn is a sexuality educator, researcher, author and activist. In addition to teaching Human Sexuality, Gender and Men & Masculinities at Temple University, she lectures and facilitates workshops for both academic and professional audiences, including most recently co-founding Empathy At Work, LLC and organizing the inaugural Men & #MeToo Conference to be held in Philadelphia in Fall 2019.

She has developed comprehensive sexuality education curricula for the University of Sciences, the American Medical Student Association and Princeton University. Her pedagogical approach is tailored to convey foundational and advanced issues in sex, gender and politics to diverse audiences. In the classroom and in all presentations and workshops, she cultivates a respectful and judgment-free environment that enables students and participants of all backgrounds to discuss topics that are often sensitive and controversial. The overarching goal in all of Jenn’s work is to help people find their own voices and join the discourse around civil rights, class systems and social positionality.

Jenn received her Ph.D. in Human Sexuality and Masters in Education from Widener University, where she was inducted into Gamma Eta Rho, the National Honor Society in Human Sexuality. She is also an active member of the Philadelphia Leadership Council of Lambda Legal, the nation’s oldest and largest legal advocacy group fighting for the civil rights of LGBT individuals and those living with HIV.
