she/they
Ashley Wang (she/they) is a queer, polyamorous, first-generation Chinese-American eldest child of immigrants. They were born and raised in Queens, NYC and graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies and Public Health. She is a Sexual Health Educator, Healing Facilitator, Dancer, and Multihyphenate Creative. Ashley has been in community-facing work for the majority of their life, serving in environments ranging from a homeless youth shelter to sexual reproductive health care clinics as an abortion doula. They lead their life journey through the lens of yuánfèn, a concept of “fateful coincidences” and destiny in Chinese society. She believes in bringing the traditionally taboo and stigmatized realms of sexuality, pleasure, and shadow work into light for the benefit of all.
